Bituminous Felt Waterproofing
Built up bituminous membranes are probably the most common form of roof covering material for flat roofs. They can be used over timber, metal, asphalt and concrete decks. Today’s high performance felts are reinforced with polyester or glass or a mixture of the two, and are coated and impregnated with bitumen. Bituminous felt coverings can be guaranteed for up to 25 years.
